At the end of April 2023, the European Data Protection Board, in which the Hellenic DPA participates as a member, announced the creation of a Data Protection Guide for small business (initially available only in English).
On Wednesday 24 July 2024, in the context of the online international conference organised by the Hellenic DPA on the occasion of the presentation of the results of the byDefault project, the Head of the Information and Communications Sector of the EDPB, Greet Gysen, presented the publication of the EDPB Guide also in Greek.
The Guide covers various aspects of the GDPR, including basic information on data protection, data subjects' rights and breach incidents. It includes informative videos, flowcharts, interactive graphics, useful examples and tips to help small business with their GDPR compliance effort.
